Have you ever felt like this? |
Here is a simple tip on how to get free tech support. This may also help avoid a trip to your local computer repair shop. Of course, the place you are buying your computer will try to pressure you into buying a service plan that includes tech support. As we have discussed in earlier posts there is a lot of profit built into extended warranty plans.
Your salesperson may try to scare you into spending needless money by saying something like, “You need this plan. You know it’s not if you need tech support, it’s more like when you need tech support “
The tip is this. Check out the numerous websites that offer free tech support through forums, blogs, archives, e-mail and chat rooms. I will give you three to try out.
You can remain anonymous and search through the array of forum threads to seek out the answer to your problem. You can register free and ask a question or state your problem, get it diagnosed and learn how to fix it yourself. Things like what to do if your PC won’t boot, makes weird sounds, when you can’t run programs or system keeps rebooting. All these, and more are resolved online.
People are spending up to $200 for the removal of Malware and Spyware or buying a new computer because they don’t know how easy it is to do it themselves.
As a reader of this blog, you now know a better way. If you have a favorite tech support site please share it with the rest of us!
